about wintering (2023-ongoing) is an annual short film series where I respond to the word ‘wintering’ in different ways. Every film is shot on roll of film, with no editing involved.

and my head gets a little

February Whispers The Light I See (2025)
A young woman tries to understand what it means that all of her beloved family members pass away either on or around February 12th, her birthday.
For the first time, she finds herself mourning alone in a city far away from her family; A city filled with people who seem too busy to find the time to grieve, a place too restless for souls to find peace.
All shot on one roll of film, on February 12th 2025 (my birthday).
This is a straight 8 competition film; no editing and postproduction involved.
